“I can’t believe Lance left you in this state all weekend,” said Lily with a devilish grin, gently rubbing her hand over Kate’s belly as the two girls sat next to each other on Kate’s couch. “You’ve gotten so big.”

“Oh, I know,” said Kate, her hands bracing herself on her back as she leaned forward to stretch. “It’s hard to bend down or really do anything. I’ve been spending a lot of time in bed lately.”

“Well, I’ll help out in any way I can,” said Lily, reaching her hand back and fussing with her bun. A few tendrils of her brown hair spilled down, drifting over Lily’s shoulders. “Thanks for inviting me, babe, it’s been too long since I’ve seen you.”

“I know, right?” said Kate with a wide smile. She softly placed her hand on Lily’s shoulder.

“You’re still so skinny,” said Lily, looking to Kate’s bare arm. “How do you get so big down here,” she said, motioning to her friend’s belly. “But stay so slender up here?”

“Heck if I know,” said Kate with a laugh. “Salad and lean proteins?” Lily joined Kate in her laugh.

“If I ever get pregnant,” started Lily. “Which I won’t because I prefer pussy,” she said, causing the girls to continue their laughs. “I’ll be sure to take advice from you on how to eat.”

“I don’t think you have anything to worry about,” said Kate, smiling adoringly at her friend. “You’re gorgeous and you’re going to stay that way.” She looked Lily up and down, taking in her curvy figure, her exposed cleavage, and her round and firm-looking ass.

“I need you to come out with me to pick up girls,” said Lily. “You can hype me up and get me laid.”

“You don’t need to go anywhere to get laid,” said Kate, immediately embarrassed by her own forwardness. “I mean, um, I didn’t mean—“ she said, fumbling with her words.

“You’re crazy,” said Lily with a grin. She readjusted herself, straightening her short khaki shorts as she sat on the couch cross-legged. The girls were silent for a moment and then Lily reached forward to grab her mug of tea.

“I’m sorry,” said Kate. “I didn’t mean for it to come out like that.”

“Well,” said Lily, sipping from her tea and then taking her time to set the mug back down on the coffee table. “What exactly did you mean by it?”

“I, um—“ said Kate with a stutter, looking off to the side. “I’ve just been kind of lonely lately, with Lance traveling for work so often. He’s not been giving me the attention I need. And I think he’s turned off by this,” she said, her hands holding onto either side of her belly.

“Can I tell you a secret?” said Lily in a low, almost conspiratorial, voice.

“Sure,” said Kate, looking seriously at her friend.

“I’ve always wanted to, you know, fool around with a pregnant woman,” said Lily, a bit of fire dancing in her eyes. “There’s just something kind of taboo about it all.”

“Really?” said Kate with surprise and excitement in her tone.
